Builder pays dues of Rs 7 cr to DTCP

GURGAON: Real estate giant Emaar MGF has paid its entire outstanding amount of Rs 7 crore to the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP), which had cancelled the licence of the real estate company after finding out the records which pointed out payment dues relating to internal development charges (IDC) and external development charges (EDC). A senior executive from Emaar MGF said: “All the outstanding dues have been cleared as per the rules of the DTCP.” Against the cancellation of the licence, earlier the builder had taken the plea that they have taken various licences and deposited large amount of money to the DTCP.
