Bodaki farmers’ nod sought for transport hub

GREATER NOIDA: The Greater Noida Authority has initiated talks with farmers regarding the acquisition of land for the ambitious Bodaki transport hub and the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor. A meeting was held between Bodaki farmers and senior Authority officials last week to apprise them of the projects. Another meeting will be scheduled soon to follow up the issue. “The abadi land of some farmers is coming in the way of the industrial corridor and transport hub. As per procedure, it is required to apprise the land owners about the project, make them stakeholders and get their consent for acquisition in return for adequate compensation,” said an official.
