NHAI, officials meet over flyover

GURGAON: After getting rapped by Punjab and Haryana high court, the officials of National Higways Authority of india (NHAI) and Haryana government held a meeting to discuss the plan to decongest the Hero Honda crossing in Gurgaon. In the meeting held in Chandigarh, a senior government official said, the joint committee discussed the innovative Japanese model for decongesting the Hero Honda crossing. “The plan of ‘Osaka model’ (elevated road model) proposed by the road transport and highways ministry, was discussed in detail and also the roadmap for going ahead with the project,” said a senior state government official who was present in the meeting.
