Orbital road study moves into next gear

KOCHI: The regional orbital road, connecting Kodungallur in Thrissur district with Cherthala in Alappuzha district, has moved to the next stage with the National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (Natpac) expected to submit the feasibility report to the state town planning department by March-end. Natpac, which was entrusted with the task of conducting the study for the road, is learnt to have completed the survey for the same. The agency is now in the final stages of preparing the alignment of the road that will have a total length of 108km.
