GURGAON: Going after the construction of farmhouses and other commercial activities in the restricted forest zone, the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) is carrying out a survey of forest landing, including the Aravali ranges stretching from Gurgaon to Faridabad. A senior HSPCB official said the survey has been planned to prosecute the violators in the region after the recent instructions from Chandigarh. Refusing to divulge the specific areas where the survey team will focus, the official said: “There are three particular areas in the region where the survey team will be visiting, and will do videography, in case construction is being carried out or left unfinished by the violators.”
