Huda initiative to tackle water problem

For the residents of Sectors 3, 5 and 6, this summer will not be as difficult as the ones before. The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has replaced the 60 KW transformer with a 200 KW one. This will enable efficient functioning of the motors installed at the station and boost water supply till the end of the Sectors 3, 5 and 6. Says Gyan Sharma, junior engineer, HUDA, “Due to short supply of electricity, the motor couldn’t function efficiently here. Now we have installed a transformer costing Rs. 3.5 lakh.
