The Union Cabinet approved the bill for setting up a real estate regulator and the government aims to introduce it in Parliament in the Monsoon Session. Union housing and urban poverty alleviation minister Ajay Maken in an interview to The Indian Express, says the bill gives a lot of flexibility to the state governments while ensuring an effective regulatory regime.
