Expansion work at Chandu Budhera water plant begins

GURGAON: The Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has started working on the expansion of water storage capacity at Chandu Budhera treatment plant in Gurgaon. The water tanks at the plant are sufficient to store and supply over 22 million gallons daily (MGD). HUDA is now planning to build more tanks to bolster the capacity of the plant up to 44 MGD. “The work for second unit is going on and water storage capacity has been increased accordingly,” said a senior HUDA official.
