NEW DELHI: By the end of next year, those travelling from south Delhi to Mayur Vihar will be able to bypass the heavily congested Ring Road. The lieutenant governor on Thursday cleared the extension of the Barapullah elevated road from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar Phase-I. Work on phase III of the project is expected to start in another six months and will extend the existing elevated stretch from INA to the UP Link Road on the eastern bank of the Yamuna. PWD minister Raj Kumar Chauhan said the project was cleared by the LG during the governing body meeting of UTTIPEC and will be sent to the Yamuna
