Builder Jimmy Mistry’s high rise, Della Towers, that stands at the entrance of Dadar Parsi Colony and has become a de facto landmark portends the future of Parsi ‘baugs’ and colonies. The 19-storey structure, jammed into its plot, has a swimming pool and health club and pays tribute to “ancient Achaemenian design” with a looming relief of the Zoroastrian prophet, spear-wielding figures and Parsi prayers inscribed on the front.
